School Your Peers – Wisconsin Rapids FACT

Wisconsin Rapids FACT members are making a difference in their school by participating in the School Your Peers FACTivism. They took the opportunity to present to 8^th grade students in their health education classes. This wasn’t just any old presentation though; they took the initiative to include interactive games and prizes.

School Your Peers is a FACTivism that focuses on educating and presenting to peer members. FACT groups get the opportunity to present to different audiences, from younger grades to health classes. In these presentations there are a variety of other FACTivisms to include such as interactive games or passing out stickers. It also works as a great opportunity to recruit new members to the group!

The FACT movement is a youth-driven movement of Wisconsin youth spreading the truth about tobacco, including vapes. FACT aims to prevent and stop youth tobacco use through education. FACT is funded by the Commerical Tobacco Prevention & Treatment Program, organized by local tobacco alliances, and managed by the American Lung Association.
