Raining Truth with Beloit Memorial High School FACT

There's a cloud of misinformation hanging over e-cigarettes, so Beloit Memorial High School FACT made sure to share the real truth about vaping's dangerous health effects. This FACTivism uses inflatable balls to build a 3D vape cloud that is dripping with undeniable e-cig facts. Among the facts displayed were statements such as "E-cig clouds contain all kinds of toxic things: nickel, tin, lead, and some of the same chemicals found in car exhaust" and "You are 4x more likely to start smoking cigarettes if you vape". The display remained up for the entire montyh of January, engaging students and staff in an importance conversation about vaping and its risks.

This innovative FACTivism not only brings awareness to the dangers of e-cigarettes, but it also povides students with a visual representation of the harms of a vape cloud. The inflatables symbolize the toxic clouds produced by e-cigarettes and serve as a striking reminder of the hidden dangers lurking within e-cigarettes.
